体操競技部（男子）

表彰台を目標に進んできたチームとしては、5位という成績は決して嬉しい結果とはいえません。しかし、試合直前に見舞われた少なくない苦境に負けることなく、最後の演技まで丁寧に試合をこなした選手たちは立派でした。
特に、佐敷亮仁と高島康平の4年生二人が、チーム内でトップの点数を獲得し、チームを牽引してくれたことは、夏の全日本インカレに向けて大変心強いものでした。

また二人にとって最後の西日本インカレで、佐敷はつり輪で5位、鉄棒で6位に入賞、高島はつり輪で4位、平行棒で5位入賞を果たしました。

The 5th place was definitely not a happy result as the team whose goal was to get on the winner’s podium.
However, we should be proud of our gymnasts who showed great performances until the last landing of the final event despite not a few unpredicted accidents happened just before the competition. In particular, it was very encouraging that the 4th-year-students, Ryoto Sajiki and Kohei Takashima, led the team by getting the best scores in the team.
At this last Western-Japan Inter-College Championships for them, Sajiki came 5th on rings and 6th on high bar, and Takashima came 4th on rings and 5th on parallel bars.
